kai walks
i lean down to pet kai and he starts to walk forward. i follow a step or two, still petting, and then i stop following him, thinking he doesn't need the luvvin right now. but then he cries and stands still and looks at me, so i lean down again and pet. he walks. i follow, petting, walking, trying to stay in step with this tiny light creature.

Sometimes they seem to need proof...
Some kitties prefer ambulatopetting. Some day you must tell stories about how they came to live with you.
